Finished my safari :o(
Hey hey,
So much has happened since i last updated everyone. The day after my skydive in Swakopmund we left at 8.30 for skitzkoppe. On the way we stopped at a seal colony...all very exciting. Our campsite in skitzkoppe had no facillaties at all, by this time we were use to peeing behind bushes and having babywash showers, so it wasnt to bad. A few of as went on a walk to explore the area and climb the huge rock formations and search for animals and rock paintings - all the others did a paid tour and saw exactly the same, so i saved myself $N30. Tonight was the first night we could sleep out under the stars or in the cave...i didnt stay out all night tho, ended up in the tent. After spitkoppe we headed to Etosha National Park. Today was the first time that were saw proper animals. Our campsite was fenced off, but it had a waterhole that animals flooeded to. Spent mamy hours down there over the next 2 days just watching the animals arrive in big heards. Saw elephants, giraffes, zebra, springboks. one night we even heard lions roaring, it was such a surreal and awesome experience to see the animals stand guard of there young and the rest of the heared when they thought there was danger around. The lion didnt attack, but he did appear from behind the bushes for a couple of mins.
We had a full day of game hunting in the park on Chobe (our truck. Saw a few more animals like dikdik, whorthogs, gnu's and lions sleeping in the distance. It was a pretty awesome experience to see everything we did.
The next day we headed to the capital of Namibia, Windhoek. Wasnt a very exciting city. Stayed in a hostel tonight and headed to Joe's beerhouse for a group dinner and very drunken night for a few of us. Our driver and Fiona got engaged tonight!!!
The next day we headed tro Ghanzi, which we were told would be absolutely freezing at night, so we all got an upgrade to a bushmans hut. We did a bushmans walk with "traditional bushman", was pretty cool to see how they could survive living off the land. From Ghanzi we left Namibia behind and headed for Botswanna.
Will write aout the rest of my safari later, about to run out of credit.
Missing everyone, love u all lots

Safari Tour
Hey Hey,
Wow, where to start!! Im on such a high at the moment, I have just jumped out of a friggin plane!! Sky diving over the Nambian dessert...what an awesome feeling!
So i stared my tour on the 28th July. The tour started with a township tour similar to that i did on Thursday. Then it was time to really start our adventure!! Drove around 4hours to our first stop in Klower. This stop was really just a night at a local vineyard, for lots of drinking and getting to know everyone. The next day we headed to Fiddlers creek campsite, on the orange river which seperates south africa and namibia. The following day we crossed the border into Namibia. Here we stayed at a campsite called Hobas, which we had to share with the local baboons, who loved to steal our food!! Went to the Fish River Canyon and enjoyed the sunset and moon rise...absolutely beautiful!
The next day was a long 8 hour drive to sesriem. Once we arrived here we went to another canyon and sunset, followed by a very big night of drinking. We all regreted it in the morning when we had to be up at 5am for a walk up a 120m sanddune to watch the sun rise...was definately worth it tho..well apparently, i didnt make it to the top!!! combination of a hangover, lack of sleep and pure unfittenss, i think!! But at least i actually got out of bed...a few of the girls could even move! After the sand dune mission we tackled an 1.5hour trek of the nambian dessert.
After our morning adventures we had to travel 350km to swakopmund, where i am now. This place is an aderenalin junkies heaven!
Yesterday i went quad biking in the dessert...the biggest sand dunes in the world. Was absolutely awesome. Know now why all u boys love riding so much!! Then today i jump. I cant believe it, it was fucking awesome. Was the best feeling...apart from the mega hangover i had...pretty good cure tho!!!
Having an absolutely awesome time. My tour mates are fantastic, learnt so much about the african life, and have enjoyed meeting the locals. Really looking forward to the next couple of days when we head to Etoshia game park and the Delta in Botswana, where we are guareenteed to see most of the "Big 5". So far we have sleeped with jakals and baboons and only seen animals like springboks and ostrich on the drives, so really looking forward to hanging with a lion and some hippos!!
WWWWWHHHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHH...........im on such a high!!!
Gotta go kiddies...still having troubles with these stupid photos, but will try sort something out soon. Got about 300 so far!!
Miss u all
Kiss and hugs

Hey,
I arrived in Cape Town on the 25th of July around 10.30am. Flying into Cape Town was amazing...the views were gorgeous, but just before landing you see the township and you remember you are flying into Africa.
Once i arrive in my hostel i was pounced on straight away to do some tours, so i dumped my bag and head for the V & A Waterfont. This place is gorgeous, u have the habour and shopping area over looking the water with the mountains behind you. After some lunch with Jennifer (a girl from the US) we jumped on the ferry to ride to Robben Island. The trip over there was pretty good, but it was absolutely freezing!! The island was amazing, the landscape is so beautiful with the view of Table Mountain in the background. The history of the island is amazing, its hard to believe the way the blacks were treated, for such trivial things. Unfortunately Nelson Mandella's cell was under construction, which was a bit of a disappointment. Our tour guide was actually in Robben Island prision for terrisom...he actually believed that there should be equal rights for all people.
After Robben Island I just spent the night in the hostel bar getting to know the other poeple hear. Its so interesting speaking to all the differnet people...there are so many stories to share!!!
At this point I dont feel like i have left home, I dont feel threatened or scared. It wasnt until day 2 that I did a tour of the township, that i knew I was in Africa. Cant believe that people are still forced to live in such awful and distgusting standard. We visited a hostel, 3 rooms with 3 different families sharing it. the conditions were awful. Wish there was something I could do. The tour was uplifted by going to the local kindergarten...the kids were so gorgeous, so easily please. I loved it!! Definately coming back here and doing some sort of volunteer work with the kids.
After the township tour I went down to the Cape Point. This is where both the indian and atlantic oceans meet. Unfortunately it was pissing down with rain so it was a bit hard to enjoy. We also stopped at the pengiun colony.
Tonight i planned on having and early one, but that never happened..had a few drinks and got chatting.
Day 3 I was planning on having a pretty quite one. The weather was just as bad as yesterday, possibly even worst. Spent the day doing the hop on hop off tour. Then went shopping for some warm clothes...i am absolutely freezing. Dont know how i am going to handle camping!!!
Tonight we had our pre tour meeting, all sounds pretty exciting!!! Need to be up ready to go by 7.30 tomorrow...but think i am gonna go check out the night life for a bit with my dorm buddy Konrad from Germany. He's been out every night and keeps telling me he needs a dance partner!!
Anyway on 3mins of credit left. Will keep u up to date with my safarii, could be a while before i get to an internet tho. Sorry, still having problems with uploading my photos., but wil have them up as soon as i can.
Love ya's all
